As our adversaries close the technology gap, the U. needs to push the boundaries of what is possible in the areas of science and technology in order to defend America. Over the course of a year, the Air Force will listen and learn from the scientific community, higher education and business professionals through a series of conversations and outreach events. With the support of the Air Force Research Laboratory, Indiana University is hosting a forum for the U. Air Force and its research community to learn about innovative science ideas that have the potential to fulfill the goals of the USAF 2030 Initiative. We are reaching across six regional states to draw together faculty, research staff, and technology transfer personnel from institutions of higher education, along with industry research and development professionals. Air Force is on a mission to invent the future for 2030 and beyond.
